Ola Labib, one of Britain's rising stand-up comedians, is making history as the only black, muslim, female, Sudanese comedian currently performing in the UK, and has performed nationwide at venues including The Comedy Store, Hot Water, and The Frog and Bucket.

Labib's material on stage is said to be inspired by her personal experiences including her traditional African and strict Islamic upbringing, as well as the likes of Ricky Gervais and Dave Chapelle. Following her recent appearance on CBBC's The Dog Ate My Homework, and co-hosting duties alongside her husband in her Kashta Lab Podcast, the Sudanese comedian is likely to be making many more appearances both on-stage and on-screen in the near future.
